Update!

We made it in the newspaper! Quite an accomplishment for us! Nine months ago we were just thinking of our program and kicking it off trying to connect to programs and foster youth! Creating our name, our mission, and making it come alive! Today we made it in the paper! That's quite exciting for us! We are working through the bumps in the road with the exchange of letters. Since this program is fairly new we are still working through the kinks! We appreciate all those involved in making this program possible for the patience and the willing to work with us as we continue to connect with programs and foster youth! A week ago we got the green light to connect with the Marion County foster youth here in Salem, OR. We are now waiting for the new list of foster youth available to write to! Thank you to all who have helped make this program run and for all the encouragement cards sent in! We always are accepting general encouragement cards at PO BOX 440 4676 Commercial St. SE Salem, OR 97302! Send them in as often as you'd like and we will send them out to the foster youth! Remember "sending a letter, brings people together" :)
